Maura has her Bachelor of Arts in English from University of New England. She spent five years in the woods and next to the river, came back to Long Island, and is a Higher Ed Administrator by day. She is a bleeding heart, impassioned rambler, and observer by night.
Maura has always been involved in many forms of art. Catharsis is its main function in her life, but anyone who knows her knows she often totes around markers, pens, a pad, and some relevant quotes. Maura needs art for its uniting, but deeply personal nature that makes people feel less alone while still telling their individual story.
Maura's original art is featured as the cover art for our April 2017 issue.
