Jacob Edelstein has strong feelings about words. He revels in arranging them and moving them between languages, especially English and Spanish. He has worked as both an interpreter and a translator; his translations have appeared in publications for the City of Long Beach, California and in Introduction to the Pacific Basin (Routledge 2017).
He was born in the ocean just outside of Los Angeles, California and is interested in pretty much everything in, on, and around that great liquid mother. He loves to slide, enjoys plucking strings, and drums on things too. These days he teaches English at a small high school in Houston, Texas and feels grateful and rather hungry. He hopes to continue feeling this way for a long while. If you would like something translated or feel like contacting him, he would be happy to hear from you.
