The rocky horror show
Of things undone
The ghosts of
Years past
The words we weave
The thread of
Unrelenting pain, the
Absence, the empty space,
That will be left.
 
The unforgiving consequences
Of the sea, the sea.
The marks, the scars
That erode the sentiment of calm
 
The heavy and dark spectacle
Of memory and time
The mangled work
Of entropy, the inaccessible
Mysteries of change
 
All and nothing
Are but figments
Of the difference,
The trace, the print
Left behind.
